2. How We Use Your Data

When you log a meal by uploading an image—the information is processed locally on your device. Our on‑device AI models analyze the photo to estimate nutritional values and calories. We do not transmit or store the image or any associated data on external servers.

3. Third‑Party Services

We integrate the following services to enhance functionality:

• OpenAI API: Used in real‑time to generate nutritional insights. Your data is processed transiently and is not stored by OpenAI.
• RevenueCat: Handles in‑app purchases and subscription management. RevenueCat processes purchase metadata as required for billing but does not store any meal logs or personal images.

These services only process the minimal data necessary to perform their functions and do not retain your logged meals or personal information.

4. Data Storage and Deletion

All data, including your meal history and preferences, is stored locally on your device. To delete this data, simply uninstall CaloTrack. Because nothing is synced to our servers, uninstalling the app permanently removes all your information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. Your meal logs, images, and preferences never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.

6. Children's Privacy

CaloTrack is intended for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children—or from anyone.

7. Security

Although we do not store your data externally, we employ industry‑standard encryption and secure protocols for any temporary processing that occurs (e.g., when interacting with OpenAI or RevenueCat). This ensures that your information remains protected during transient operations.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not store any personal data on our servers, there is no data for you to request, modify, or delete from us. You retain full control of your data on your device.
